I met a newborn vampire tonight. She seems to be Compton’s child. She is sort of a pathetic creature. Pretty, but not bright. Exactly what Compton was probably after with Sookie, I suppose. She really is so much better off with my Maker, though I hate to admit it. Perhaps Jessica will surprise us all and become impressive.
